雨丝不减志愿心

62 日,顶着瓢泼大雨,10名学生在学生处主任诸轶群老师的带领下前往进才中学国际部参加了一年一度的SA交流活动

本次活动涉及长江三角洲的六所国际学校。各校均带来了种类繁多的重量级SA项目,让人眼花缭乱。

活动在一个个精心制作的视频简介中开始了。七个视频,七种风格,有的温馨,有的大气,有的幽默,但共同的是有一颗服务的心。接着,所有参展同学被分配7话题不同的小组里面,进行一个破冰活动。这个环节颇具挑战意义,大家需要短短的一个小时内完成让全球性问题讨论、制作海报PPT并上台多一个35分钟的演讲真是一切功夫尽在平时的全球视野。

下午,没有硝烟的战场真正开始了。再回到礼堂时,已经布置好了很多贴海报的板子,向屏风一样每一个学校都有自己的一个位置,同学们便陆陆续续开始布置并准备展示自己的SA项目。展示开始了,有些同学们驻守在位子上面向来往的同学们介绍他或他们的项目,有些同学则出去参观别人的;在我们学校里面,有介绍女权主义的,也有介绍帮助山区儿童的。两个小时的比拼结束了,而我们得到了最佳服务奖每个人的脸上就像我们的徽标一般,嘴角微微上扬。这个上扬即使志愿的传承。

这次活动我受益匪浅我在这次活动中,看到了许多同学们的SA项目,五花八门,但是,全都是为了或大或小的社区做出了贡献。关注女权主义的同学,在网上发表了书刊,以作宣传;有的同学帮助山区的孩子,让他们获取知识,从中也锻炼了自己;有的同学为学校写报纸,让同学们了解自己学校里的新闻;有的同学举办运动会……他们每一个人的项目都有着独特的意义,也在为自己所在的社区服务着。

让我们都加入到SA的家庭中吧。

The Fantastic Annual SA Expo

June 2, 2015, some students in our school went to JCID to join the Inter-School Action for Service Expo 2015. This activity was a chance to show and shared the good or creative SA project which made by the student in each school to others. Besides sharing your project, it’s also a platform of communicating and learning, so that students could keep doing more and more good SA projects.
At the beginning, we were first divided into 7 big groups, each group contained the students from different schools. For each group, there was a real-world problem that the students should solved. Our group’s question was “How can international schools engage with the local community?” This was a quit hard question to all of us, because to solve this question, we should be able to work together with those who we haven’t worked with, think amply to get the solution, and finally present out discussion and solution by using poster or PPT in only 1 hour. After these activity, we knew each other better and knew that all of them has a pretty good ability, whether about the organizing, presenting or communicating.
In the afternoon, was the main part of this activity: the exhibition of SA projects. The projects that students made were focusing on three main topics. The first one is culture. Many students discussed about it. For example, Lucy from our school focused on the pigeon Shanghainese, which is related to Chinese culture; Sulli from our school had talked about the social position of women in Chinese history; also, a group from SSES had talked about the cognition of Chinese about Vietnam. This kind of topic so is related to the culture, the core of any area or society. The second one is to help and donate. This topic is the one which most of the students chosen. For example, to help the migrant children, to help the poor people, and to help the strays. The last main topic, which is about the environment, is also very popular. Some students discovered about the function and protection of the coral, some of them had explored about the environment in the Africa etc. Actually all of them are pretty great ideas.
This activity is very significant and necessary to all of the schools. Because by taking part in it, each person can spread their ideas to other. At the same time, people can also know what limitation that their project have and what can they do next, what else can they improve, so that the SA project can be more creative year by year.
