On the 2nd of April, our school, WFLMS celebrates its Science Fair. The Science Fair was held in the afternoon, in the morning we still have four periods. However the four periods did not decrease the enthusiasm in greeting the Science Fair.

Everyone was very excited about the fair. The fair started earlier than the time the first period starts. The sixth graders of WFLMS had some interesting experiments, for instance, trying to make clay float on water, watch the changes to chemicals that react with carbon dioxide and so on.

Time does fly when you’re having a good time, after all those fun experiments were done in a blink of an eye, there comes the most serious part of the Science Fair. It’s a little competition between same science projects. Each grade’s student were given different projects to prepare for the Science Fair’s competition. We sixth graders did a project ourselves, too. We made little wooden aircrafts. Our goal was to see how long the plane would stay in the air, the craft that flies the longest, wins.

This Science fair was a success, we received lots of new knowledge.
