On March the eighteenth, the sixth graders of Shanghai World Foreign Language Middle School had a trip to the Botanical Garden. After the third period, we set off to the garden. It took us 30 minutes to get there.
We arrived at approximately 11:40 in the morning. Roses are red, trees are green, and the weather is fine. The six graders were soon separated into small groups and spread around excitedly. Some of us took pictures as souvenirs, some of us played with a ball, and some of us read under a big tree. Everything was great.
At 1:20, we assembled. As it’s an AOI activity, there’s a task sheet for us. This isn’t an exceptional case either. It’s for us to take care of a pot for a month and write down whatever happens to it. Our goal is to take care of it and let it stay alive for a whole month.
As a whole, we enjoyed this trip very well as we were so close to nature where the air is clean, and plants are everywhere. We can exercise, and learn about plants that we might’ve never seen before.
