A.Good morning teachers and students, this week’s national flag raising ceremony is conducted by our class, class 4 junior 2.

A.  Stand up. Raise the national flag and sing the national anthem.

There are a lot of excellent student in WFLA. They are not only good at studying, but also have good manners. They have taken extra classes to know more about the Communist Youth League.

B.  After some elections, we have come out of 6 Outstanding Communist League members. Let’s warmly welcome Mr. Chen to award these outstanding students.

作为一个优秀团员，你对自己有没有什么要求？

首先我认为，能够得到优秀团员的殊荣，我觉得十分荣幸，因而我既然有了这样的责任，便要有与之相匹配的能力与要求。我给自己两个词的要求，一是“正直”，二是“责任”。正直意味着我要在生活中时时刻刻严于律己，不受外界是非的影响，坚持做正确的事情，走正道，而“责任”则比这更上一层楼。我原以为责任就是做自己份内的事，但是经过团课的学习和团员间的几次会议讨论，我渐渐了解到作为团员，我们应该善于指出生活中他人的错误，做到引导作用，而不只只是独善其身。我在这一点上还有很大的努力空间，因此会更严格地要求自己。

谢谢。那我认为你，一个优秀的班级体对于每一个人的成长都是有很大影响的。在你心目中，一个优秀的班级是怎样的？

在我心目中，一个优秀的班级体应该有着一种积极向上的正能量，并且有着集体荣誉感，能够不仅仅为自己，而是为班级着想。例如刚刚过去的爱心义卖准备筹划过程中，在我还没有想出具体方案时，就有不少同学，有班委也有非班委，就来找我或是提出自己的建议与想法，或是报名成为志愿者，让我感觉十分感动。假如不管什么事件，班级总是洋溢着这样热心的氛围，我相信这样的班集体是完全可以称为“优秀班级”的。

作为一个优秀团员，你会如何带领班级变得更加优秀？

我认为要使一个集体更加优秀，首先要从每个人自己做起。我自己就要和上面所说的一样，做到自律，并起到带头和表率作用。除此之外，我认为，也是更重要的一点，要和同学们一起努力，一起进步，毕竟班级不是属于一些团员或者一些班委的，而是班级里的每一个同学的。我愿和同学们互相帮助，互相发现、揪出并改正对方身上的缺点，共同成长，这样才是最好的。

A.  Thank you. There are outstanding students, and of course there are outstanding classes. We, the students have to make our classes better. It’s time for us to compete for our class to get the honor of ‘Excellent Class’.

B.  Yeah, and everyone has to make their own contribution to the class. I bet you want to know more about this. So let’s welcome Louie and Alice to tell us more about this election.

A.  The annual selection of excellent classes is around the corner.

B.  Yes, and now we are going to explain the rules to you.

A.  Like always, we are going to establish three different types of the excellent classes. One is called the well-routine classes, which are the classes that do well in the routines such as the eye exercises or students in those classes have well self-discipline are welcomed in this nomination.

B.  Obviously, and the second one is called the feature classes, which are classes have a special talent, like us, we are good at bridge, so we can campaign for feature class of bridge.

A.  And the third one is called the scholarly classes, which are classes that the students in the classes like reading books, and classes that have a good reading atmosphere. If your class has these characteristics, you can take this into consideration.

B.  But how to run for these nominations?

A.  The first stage is the declaration stage. We’d make sure what kind of classes we’re going to establish. The second stage is from week six to week twelve. We should launch a series of activities based on our feature class. Then is the exhibition stage. It is from week thirteen to week fifteen. Our teachers and school leaders will vote for the excellent classes from week sixteen to seventeen, and give the final excellent classes their awards.

B.  But I don’t think I can do anything of this.

A.  Then you are totally wrong. As a student, we can act well in school to leave a good impression on students and teachers; also, we can use our creativity to make our class better. Constant dropping wears the stone, so no matter whom you are or which position you are in; just try your best to help your class improve. I hope there’s a good end. Thank you!
