春日里的爱——记世外中学2014年境外部爱心义卖顺利举行

    每年的春日，世外中学都会举办一年一度的爱心义卖活动。利用这个契机，世外学子们都会积极尝试用独到新颖的方式，筹得尽可能多的善款，为社会中需要帮助的人们献出一份绵薄之力。今年的2月27日，MYP与DP师生共聚在国际部，加入了这温情和睦的活动。各个班级都早早做好了准备，纷纷贴出精心设计的海报和横幅，吸引同学们的注意。

    本次爱心义卖会场设立在操场，汇集了每个班级最值得称道的服务的项目。同学们或在有求必应的小型跳蚤市场里流连忘返，或纷纷购买幸运签语饼与惊喜小福袋，或在中庭的舞台唱高歌一曲，使美妙的歌声回荡在世外的天空中。除此之外，同学们还加入了射击、投篮这些互动性强的活动，在玩乐的同时献出了一份爱心。而每个班级都在各自的分会场，分别提供了各色独特的风格和创新的产品，可谓五花八门各有千秋。老师同学都纷纷和伙伴一起，走街串巷，在创意小摊前自己动手制作饰品，在精美文具摊前选择新意的小玩意儿，在命运预测摊前翻开神秘的塔罗牌，惊喜无处不在。

    除了每班特有的产品之外，学校的Charity慈善晚会光碟、MYP新年音乐会光碟和年度《新翼》杂志也吸引了众多师生的注意。同时，在阶梯教室中，世外电影院也同样吸引了许多同学去选择暂时离开了学业和生活上的压力，与大侦探福尔摩斯和他的助手华生一起，在电视剧场景中解决重重谜案，度过愉快的一小时时光。

本次爱心义卖虽然只有短短一个中午的时间，但同学们都热情高涨。时间虽短，爱心无限。全校七个年级的师生共计捐出了34408.90元善款，将用于阜阳支教、大别山支教和内蒙古植树计划。

    爱心，优雅，大气。这三个关键词在爱心义卖的活动中被淋漓尽致地演绎出来。明年的爱心义卖，让我们共同期待。

 

    Each year, in the Charity Sale, teachers and students of the International Campus try to raise as much donation as they can, with their arduous efforts and charitable spirits. This year, the annual Charity Sale took place at the beginning of spring, on Feb. 27th, with more participation, fun and wonderful memories than ever before. 

    This year, classes set theirstalls and booths right on the playground, as well as on the mid-court, so that students can have an even larger space to demonstrate,sell their creative products and contributed their compassion and love by donations. The specialized region on the playground featured some of the most innovative products in the school, including handmade decorations, fortune cookies, basketball competitions, shooting games, room escape etc. We proudly witnessed the increasing interactive activities other than the simple transactions; these activities created a joyous atmosphere and showed the impressive creativity of the student at the same time. Moreover, students also experienced Karaoke at mid-court and enjoyed a memorable noon away from stresses. 

    Furthermore, Charity video recordings, MYP New Year Concert, school annual magazines caught the eyes of many teachers and students to purchase a piece of memory and appreciation. Meanwhile, some chose to get away from pressure and spent some time in theatre to experience exciting cases along with Sherlock Holmes.

    Apart from specialized regions, central region in the middle of the playground also provided handmade accessories, drawings made by each class. The buyers could even made some DIY productsmaking the whole process much more meaningful. 

Although it was only for one noon, but the passion, love and compassion of the participators will not be limited by time. Teachers and students raised a total amount of 34408.90 RMB; and the contributions will be sent to students in impoverished regions of Fuyang and Dabie Mountain or donated to Tree-planting Project in Inner Mongolia. 

    As WFLMSers, we will always bear the responsibility of caring for others as our lifelong resolution. Next year, all of us will do even better.
